I am an experienced sales & marketing professional with international experience of high-tech products. I am creative and able to understand new product opportunities which I have shown through the identification of new markets. Consultancy

I have spent the last few years in a consultancy role. I am a Marcoms Consultant and provide marketing & technical services to companies who sell cutting edge technology products. These projects include: -

  • Database development  to track trends, inquiries &  forecasting
  • Web site creation and maintenance
  • Sales training courses: training notes, competitive comparisons, SWOT analysis & technology reviews
  • Technical newsletters: development, writing and DTP of mailers for worldwide distribution.
  • Mailers: development of complete mailers and data sheets aimed at new & existing markets

I have good IT & DTP skills especially using Quark XPress, Adobe InDesign, Acrobat, Illustrator and Photoshop (I have taken courses in DTP, FrontPage, Networking & Photoshop). I design, produce and manage complete WebPages using FrontPage, Flash, Dreamweaver. I have accreditation in computer networking & have also studied advanced html, javascript, PERL & database interaction with ASPs. Plus of course, expertise in the MS Office suite of programs.

Publications

I have created, written and published technical newsletters for many companies. I have authored or co-authored articles of a technical content in many specialist journals. See the PDF page of examples of my work over the last few years.

Other Activities
I am a committee member and also a volunteer driver for my local Hospital Community Transport Scheme, taking the elderly and disabled to hospital, health centres and other locations.
